Welcome to Knit For Mental Health

We sell handmade knitted and crocheted wrist warmers and accessories to raise funds for mental health charities.

Our online shop opened on 3rd February 2021 and since then we have supported Charities spanning the UK.

We have an army of over 300 amazing volunteers from across the country, who have donated their time, yarn and kindness to make the wonderful items we sell. Additionally, the online retailer Knitting Network has repeatedly supported us by raising £10000. As a result we have been able to donate over £50 000 to charities large and small. Please click here to see the list of charities we have supported which range from the larger organisations to the smaller ones operating on a shoestring.

Our purpose is to raise as much money as possible for mental health charities by making and selling products, handmade with love by volunteers.

Wherever possible, we use yarn donated to us. At the same time, we want to improve the mental health of both our creative volunteers and our customers by sharing the ‘2 wolves story’ and creating an inclusive community where creativeness is encouraged and every voice is heard.

Please see KnitForMentalHealth FAQs for more information, including how to become a volunteer knitter.
